Real Terrorists Rape Consumers

By Jack Duggan | Published Fri, 12/30/2005 - 6:00pm

Well, the other boot has finally dropped, and embedded in the rears of America's working families. We saw it coming; the first thud was a pro-big-money overhaul of bankruptcy procedures that forces single mothers and workers, unemployed by federal free-trade sellouts, to pay off their debts even if they can't buy groceries for their children. Debtors are forced to pay for indoctrination classes, even if they are disabled or lost their jobs, where they are given a restructuring plan to pay back debts after being 'allowed' a small amount for monthly living.

I am glad, however, to see that I was mistaken. I am VERY glad to see you all joining up in advocation of your right of peaceful assembly.

Just what is "Peaceful Assembly"

By J. Adam Craig | Published Sun, 11/20/2005 - 6:43pm

Dear PeacefulAssembly.org Community, In light of the title and mission of this site, I thought it would be interesting to pose the question "What does the right of peaceful assembly mean to you?" Do you think this website is achieving its mission of providing a location for the exercise of the right of "peaceful assembly" for ALL persons of ALL ideals and persuasions?

ASK NOT

By Jack Duggan | Published Wed, 11/16/2005 - 8:23pm

Those that God loves, know lack and illness, not prosperity and health.

Those that equate material success with 'blessings' know nothing of success nor of God.

Those that ask for nothing, receive everything.

Never pray to receive anything, for that is religion, and religion is the enemy of reason. Instead, trust that the Father knows what you need before you ask for it. Don't tell Him how, where and when. Don't presume to tell Him at all.

Have faith, not religion. Ask not.

NATIONALIZING THE INFRASTRUCTURE?

By Jack Duggan | Published Wed, 11/16/2005 - 2:47pm

The airline industry has been ruined by government in making us wait for hours in lines to be searched by people who look more like terrorists than anyone in line.

Tone is important

By davewilkinson | Published Tue, 11/08/2005 - 10:19pm

I would like to see more political commentary that has more civilized tone. I have read many editorials that have had an excellent point to be made only to be over shadowed by emotionalism or cynicism. An editorial need not be cute or cunning in order to be appreciated. An editorial affords no room for name calling. An editorial only requires reason and integrity. The author should rely on these traits in order to be a successful editorialist. I eagerly await the perfect editorial; I eagerly await a return to true statesmanship.

Third Secret of Fatima Revealed

By Jack Duggan | Published Fri, 10/14/2005 - 6:15am

This is an extract from the Third Secret of Fatima and not the complete text of the original message as the Mother of God revealed it on the 13th of October, 1917 to the then-small visionary, Lucia, now a departed cloistered Carmelite nun who lived in a convent in Coimbra, Portugal. This extract is being circulated presently in diplomatic circles, to no effect.
